About Love And Leadership

Those who love the Lord Jesus Christ share the same job description. Regardless of how or where we serve, our job description is to:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and to love your neighbor as yourself."  - Luke 10:27

We follow the first part by loving God with our passion, prayer and whole being.  Forgetting the second half of the greatest commandment, we too often fail to actively reach out and show love, concern and care for our neighbor.

Love and Leadership bridges that gap with this mission:
To encourage, prepare and equip people of all ages to serve their neighbors in love, especially those who are poor or vulnerable.

My greatest joy is in serving Jesus. I understand that my job description is to love God and to love my neighbor.  I desire to use my time for God by investing and sharing with other Servant Leaders, particularly young professionals, all that God has taught me.
Together, we can bring faith, hope, love and joy to our brothers and sisters who have few resources, but who are rich in their heritage from God. In the midst of giving, we are also receivers.  As we serve, we bless and are blessed.
All that any of us owns comes from God.  Through Love and Leadership, we are good stewards as we put Love In Action.  In small ways and big ways, we Love and Lead, preparing others for a future full of hope.
General William Booth, the founder of The Salvation Army, would often preach a one-word sermon:  “Others!”
God is love!  God sent His Son to the world to demonstrate love and to give us the opportunity for eternal life. Praise Him!  Serve Others!  Join us at Love and Leadership.
In God’s love,
Nancy Lee Cochran
